The cot's side panel sliding can be raised and lowered with the touch of a button, making it easy to reach inside and soothe a crying baby at night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that allow it to accommodate the mattress of nearly every size bed. Additionally, it comes with adjustable feet that fold down to ensure it's placed at just the right level.

The cot is cushioned, has mesh sides that allow for more the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density, foam for extra protection.  cheap bedside cot 's also washable and you can keep the cot clean. It includes a fitted bed sheet that is suitable for the crib.

Contrary to other cribs that are bedside like the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib when not attached to your bed, and it's packed with features created with the bonding of parents and children in mind.

It is important to remember that this crib will not last as long after your baby turns six months. You will need to purchase a larger crib. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was a great buy. She liked its sleek design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She also liked the way it appeared in the bedroom, and believed that the grey shade would suit most modern homes. However, she did point that it's not a great idea to rock a young baby because it can set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a secure night's rest in mind. It features a drop-side rail that is able to be easily lowered to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or forcing them out of bed. This is ideal for mothers who breastfeed! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.

It's made of soft materials and features mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak with a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with all styles of decor. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed.  bedside crib and cot  clicked into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer service number should you encounter any issues.

In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a bedside crib, like being able to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help ease reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine washable, a must for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that comes with having a new baby!

The CoZee is a great option for keeping your child close during the first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension kit, it can be converted into an actual crib. While it won't be able to magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic


This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. It does have a lot of excellent features. It's designed to be used as a side sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to place under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access the side panel provides that can be moved up and down at the touch of a button. This was particularly useful at night, as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them up.

The side panel can be removed by itself however it isn't advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will remain in place when it is properly attached to the mattress of the parent. This feature can be very beneficial to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also has tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode to help them sleep after feeding. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it can still be easily moved from one place to another. It's small enough to be able to fit into its travel bag when not in use which is an advantage in the event that you have to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel didn't move as much as other models. This made it a little harder to see the baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're looking for a crib for your bed that will expand with your child then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. It's a crib for co-sleeping that attaches securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and enhancing the bond you have with your new born.

Unlike some other cribs for bed The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view as well as the hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress maximize airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease reflux and colic, while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby at night.

The kit for converting cots is also well-designed with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us around an hour to put together and was fairly straightforward. The only downside was the absence of captions in writing on some of the pictures, which made it difficult to understand some of the steps. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had C-sections. It lets them reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's great for parents who don't want to deal with the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.

The motion of gliding was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies into sleep following meals during the midday or at night. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a huge selling point for our exhausted test moms. Although it doesn't rock, or have additional features like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our top bedside crib reviews.
